POINT AND CLICK MENU

 

CLASSIC MENU

 

Use the Editing Menus above to refer to their functions below. You'll

notice that the Point and Click Menu is similar to a standard word processing menu.

 

 


 

 

FOR BOLD, select the text with your mouse that you want to be bold. After Selection,

click the B ICON in the icon list above this editing space to create Bold text.


 

Similarly, select text for Italics (I icon) or Underline (U icon).


 

The fifth icon from the left in the GRAY menu can be clicked to make a "bullet list"

The bullet list icon is also available in the "Point and Click" menu.

You make a table with the Table icon (2nd from far right)

Last you can center text (the icon on the far right).

By indenting, your text will be in a shaded text box.


 

Add a link to another page in the WIKI by providing the page name inside of SQUARE brackets, e.g. WebQuests

Uploading a picture to the FILES area of the WIKI is also possible.

 

 

 

  1. The rules for adding pictures is to keep them less than 70K meaning you will have to reduce their size once scanned.
  2. To add the picture from the desktop of your computer, click on the Files section of the WIKI.
  3. Then click on the "Choose File" button and locate your image on your desktop.
  4. Click on UPLOAD.
  5. Once your picture is uploaded to the files registry, click on the file name.
  6. Copy the URL of the picture which will be displayed.
  7. Go to the Wiki page where you want the picture.
  8. Create two SQUARE BRACKETS and paste the URL between these brackets.
  9. Save your page. It will display the picture you added.
