Orthography

 

Refers to the writing system of a language, specifically, the correct sequence of letters, characters, or symbols(Bear, Invernizzi, Templeton, Johnston, 2004).

 

 

The three layers of English Orthography is alphabet layer, pattern layer, and meaning layer(Bear, Invernizzi, Templeton, Johnston, 2004).

THIS SENTENCE DID NOT HAVE CORRECT VERB TENSE. THE THREE LAYERS OF ENGLISH ORTHOGRAPHY ARE THE ALPHABET LAYER, THE PATTERN LAYER, AND THE MEANING LAYER (BEAR, INVERNIZZI, TEMPLETON, & JOHNSTON, 2004).
