This school year is quite different for me. I earned an Elementary Education degree from the university in 1998, but I am currently working at Bellview Middle. I worked at the elementary level for seven years. Seven...to me, it means completion. Making drastic changes is not something that I do often, but I feel this change was the best for me and several people I worked with. I don't get angry quickly, but if anger arises, music soothes me. Gosple music is a passion for me. I sing it as well as play it on several instruments. I spend the majority of my time at church, work, and now graduate school. In addition to graduate school, I am in leadership training classes at the church I attend. I feel as if I am a full time student. Over the holidays, I spent a lot of time with my family because most of them where suffering from the flu or pneumonia. The highlight of the holidays was I met my aunt Joanne for the first time. My mother, her brothers and sisters discovered they had an additional sister through another relative. We all drove to Gautier, Mississippi and spent the day with my aunt Joanne and her husband Charles. We had a wonderful time. It was good to see the excitment and the love between my old and new family.
